Meet Union Spy, Elizabeth Van Lew - March, 11th 2023
We welcome you to join us on March, 11th at 11:00 to meet Civil War Spy Elizabeth Van Lew. Incredible actress, Kitt finch, will portray this largely unknown woman whom likely changed the course of history. Elizabeth Van Lew is credited with heading the largest espionage ring in American history. Her information was so valuable to Grant that he appointed her Head Post Master General in Richmond after the Civil War. We hope you can join us for this family friendly and free event at the Museum.
Courtyard Renovation Project
We are so excited to announce that our Courtyard Renovation Project is complete! This enormous feat is thanks to the Bucks County Tourism Grant Program, The King Questers and our incredible members. We also are thankful to Costco and Target for making donations towards the furnishing of the courtyard. The Bucks County Civil War Museum looks forward to hosting many events in this new and beautiful space in the near future!

Mt. Moriah, Forgotten Bucks County A.M.E. Cemetery, Church and Community
The Museum will be hosting a presentation, “Mt. Moriah, a forgotten Bucks County A.M.E cemetery, church and community.” It will take place on Saturday, February 25th at 11:00am. Researcher, Pat Witeck, will discuss how she found the site and President, Mike Campbell, will talk about Mt. Moriah’s past, present and future. There is no admission for this event.

General Museum and Roundtable Updates
After much deliberation, the Board of Directors has made the decision to cancelled all in-person Borough Hall meetings until further notice. We are considering doing Roundtable Meetings via Zoom, and will keep you updated as things progress.
The museum itself will also be closed until October 3rd at the earliest, with the exception of scheduled tours.
As always, we thank you for your patience and hope to see you as soon as possible.

July Roundtable Meeting Cancelled
Due to the ongoing COVID-19 outbreak, the Bucks County Civil War Round Table Meeting for July 7th has been cancelled. The topic was going to be “W. W. H. Davis” presented by Mike Campbell.
